Survivors of Saturday's train collision have received medical treatment in Wenzhou hospitals. The deadly incident has left most survivors with bone fractures and internal injuries but they believe that luck was with them during the derailment as CCTV reporter Zhang Nini has been finding out.

Twenty nine year old Yang Jingjing and his wife were in the first carriage of train D301 train from Beijing to Fuzhou on Saturday night.

Their carriage was among the worst hit in the rear-end collion. Both the husband and wife were saved by local villagers and transported to hospital on the night of the tragedy.

Yang Jingjing, survivor said "I am suffering from injuries to the chest, lungs and spine. I underwent an operation on Saturday night, and felt very lucky when I woke up and saw the light of the day. Many other travelers, though, didn't."

Wu Fengying, Mother of Yang Jingjing said "I was in a panic, their cellphones could not be connected. When I finally saw them, I breathed a sign a relief. "

The traumatic experience has left some others with emotional wounds which family members dare not address.

Fifty six year old Yi Ling is barely able to swallow some noodles. The derailment has left her with six broken ribs, and a fracture in her right leg. She also suffers from emphysema, which threatens her ability to speak.

Her sister and son have arrived since Saturday, but none dare to mention the deadly incident.

Yi Hui, sister of Yi Ling said "We don't talk about the incident now. We only told her that it's a miracle you survived. "

The Second Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical College has pulled together its medical resources since Saturday, receiving altogether 28 patients, many of whom are seriously injured.

Yu Kehe, surgeon SAID "As well as the medical service, we are also providing psychological help for patients, especially for the three children survivors here. Emotional counseling will begin very shortly. "
