Two-year-old, Xiang Weiyi, was the last survivor found in the debris. She was pulled from the last carriage of the stalled bullet train, after being trapped for 21 hours.

The girl nicknamed Yiyi was travelling back home with her parents after visiting her grandparents in Hangzhou. The happy journey for the family was turned into a journey between life and death. Both her parents died in the accident.

The photo of Yiyi posted on Yiyi's father's micro blog on sina.

Xiang's father was a Chinese language and literature teacher in a high school. Her mother worked for a vocational college. Her parents posted stories and photos of their daughter on Sina Weibo, a popular Chinese microblog. We can see Yiyi's father had uploaded a picture of her on the train to Hangzhou, with the caption saying: my girl's first trip on the bullet train.

On her Weibo page, Yiyi's mother recorded her daughter's happy and memorable moments. Their last post was on July 23rd, several hours before the tragedy, saying, "my little baby, when can you grow up?" Tens of thousands of people forwarded posts of the parents on the Internet, and sent their condolences.
