Now we visit Yiyi, the young victim of July's high speed rail crash. On Monday afternoon, the girl was in surgery for the fifth time, with doctors now from Beijing attempting to heal her leg.

The two year old girl is the last victim saved in July's train crash. She was found hours after the country's Ministry of Railways declared that there were no sign of life in the wreckage.

Yiyi's leg is seriously injured. After four surgeries, doctors in Wenzhou still could not ensure Yiyi's fully recovery.

Last Sunday, Yiyi's uncle published a plea on a blog, titled "Please keep Yiyi's leg - A letter to the Ministry of Railways". In the letter, he asks the government to help Yiyi and hopes the young girl can retrieve the full use of her leg.

That night, the ministry responded by inviting the country's best bone specialist to take over Yiyi's case.

Guo Yuan, Beijing Jishuitan Hospital, said, "There're still problems with her nerves. It will take time for her nerves to recover.

Doctor Guo believes that after a series of surgeries, Yiyi can finally get her life back. But she's not likely to ever be able to take part in some activities.

On July 23rd, a deadly high speed rail accident claimed 40 lives, including Yiyi's parents.
