Chinese athletes win two more golds on diving and weightlifting

China has grabbed more gold medals at the 2011 Universiade, in the southern Chinese city of Shenzhen. Currently, China ranks 1st on the medal tally, with 18 gold, 8 silver and 10 bronze medals.

Olympic and World Champion He Chong, produced another dream finish in Shenzhen in the men's 3 meter springboard diving competition.

And, in weightlifting, China's Kang Yue, the silver medalist at the World Championships, was the favorite in the women's 69 kilogram class. Kang lifted 105 and 110 kilos in the snatch, building up a healthy cushion. A solid hoist of 130 kilos distanced her from the competition allowing Kang to claim the gold with a total combined lift of 240 kilos.
