S. China heat wave to ease on Aug. 22nd

The heat wave currently affecting south China will ease on Monday, according to the National Meteorological Center. Currently most of the country's southern areas, and parts of its southwest, are experiencing temperatures above 35 degrees Celsius.

Among those regions, most of Chongqing Municipality, the eastern part of Sichuan basin, and the provinces of Guizhou, Hubei and Anhui have witnessed the highest temperatures exceeding 40 degrees Celsius.
