To learn more about the tide, we are joined on the phone by our reporter Lv Yao in Haining city in Zhejiang Province.

Q1: You've been at the scene for two days. What's the atmosphere there like now and being just meters away from the Qiangtang river, what's your impression of the tidal bore?

Q2: We know there have been incidents where crowds have been injured during observation of the tidal bore. What measures have been put into place by authorities to ensure safety?
