China to adopt PM 2.5 in air monitoring

China's environmental authorities are seeking public opinion nationwide on its revised standards on air quality monitoring nation-wide.

The highly-anticipated revised standard will include PM 2.5 in the country's air quality monitoring. It also raises the standards for other common pollutants such as Sulfur Dioxide and Nitrogen Dioxide.

China's current air monitoring standard has drawn wide criticism from the public on its much lower standard compared with western countries. Full story>>
