03-05-2012 23:48 BJT

Now for more in-depth analysis, joining me in the studio are Mr. He Fan, from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and Mr. William Hess, director of China Capital Economics.

Q1: In the recent years, the growth of CPI and the people’s income are in a speed race. Though statistically people actually gain more income, their feelings just go the opposite way. What’s your take?

Q2: The debt of the local government is a knotty problem, which is worsened by the strict restrictions in the property industry that reduces the revenue of the local government. To solve this problem, do you think the system of tax distribution might need some change?
