Tired of 3D movies? The Magic Art Special Exhibition held in East China’s city of Hangzhou offers you a brand new vision. Visitors there can interact and participate with three-dimensional art. Thousands of visitors have thronged the exhibition since its opening on July 1st.

It ’s all about interaction. Visitors have flocked to the three-dimensional art exhibition, to mix and mingle with the paintings themselves. Organisers say the paintings are basically two dimensional drawings, painted creatively in 3D style.

Chen Fen, one of the organizers of the 3D art exhibition, said, "Actually it was quite tiring when we tried to promote this event in Hangzhou. In fact, it is very simple, this is an interactive exhibition. People can interact and take photos with every painting. "

Visitors are encouraged to get creative and pose for photographs to create their own experience with the 3D paintings. Many say they enjoy the exhibition, describing it as even more realistic than watching a 3D movie.

Lu Qin, a visitor, said, "Compared to 3D movies, I think they are perhaps a little more abstract. But looking at the photos I took here today, it is as if I took my son straight into the painting."

And such a belief is shared by child and adult alike.

Zhao Zhekai, 10-year-old visitor, said, "I feel that a 3D art exhibition is much more fun than a regular exhibition. When I stand beside the painting, it is as though I am in it. And the people in the paintings look so real."

The exhibition had been running in South Korea for three years before being brought to China.

Organisers plan to bring the exhibition to people across China over the course of the next one and a half years.
