The pain continues from the Beijing Olympics. Liu Xiang, an athletics icon in China hobbled to the end of the race after falling because of pains.

Chinese hurdler Liu Xiang crashed heavily into the first hurdle in his first heat of the 110-meter hurdles at the London Games on Tuesday and fell to the track. He then tripped and fell over, landing hard on the foot that his coaches had warned may be a problem.

Liu first hobbled off to the side in an attempt to leave the arena and then turned around to hop to the finish line. Before leaving the Olympic Stadium, Liu kissed the hurdle on the track which very likely will be the last one for the 29-year-old athlete.

The same story happened four years ago at the Beijing Olympic Games, when he withdrew at the last moment due to a foot injury.
