China's vice Foreign Minister in Philippines for talks

China’s Vice Foreign Minister Fu Ying has arrived in the Philippines for a new round of talks. She is the highest ranking Chinese diplomat visiting the Philippines since the Huangyan island dispute back in April.

The Chinese delegation led by Fu Ying held talks with the Philippine side during the 18th Foreign Ministry Consultations in Manila on Friday morning. Fu also met separately with Philippine Foreign Secretary Albert del Rosariohas. China’s Foreign Ministry said Thursday, that China attaches great importance to the two countries’ relations, and is willing to work with the Philippine side to boost it.
