Video: 7th plenary session of 17th CPC Central Committee opens

The 7th plenary session of the 17th CPC Central Committee has opened in Beijing, attended by members and alternate members of the Central Committee. During the session, the Political Bureau will motion that the 18th National Party Congress should open on November 8th.

The draft amendment of the CPC Constitution will be discussed, along with two work reports to the National Party Congress -- one from the 17th CPC Central Committee and the other from the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.

The upcoming 18th National Party Congress will elect a new Central Committee and Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.
