At least 16 people have been killed and 5 others injured after a fire broke out in a market in south China's Shenzhen city.
The blaze started about 1 a.m. and was contained in about two hours, but not before engulfing an area of 1,000 square meters.
The fire department sent 29 fire engines carrying 145 fire fighters to put out the fire. Firefighters are still clearing the embers and searching for survivors in the debris.
A two-year-old baby was among those killed in the fire.
