In Beijing, CCTV's National Young Singers TV Contest wrapped up its final round of team competition on Sunday night. That means the biennial event has entered its more competitive stage for individual performers.

After five rounds of intense competition, all the top prizes have been determined in the team category. Among the 27 top winners are teams from the PLA Art Troupe and Xinjiang TV Station. This year's contest is different from previous events in some aspects.

For the first time in the contest's history, no member of the judging panel is allowed to score a performance in which their own students or creative works are involved. Also, regional representatives have a stronger presence on the judging panel to ensure equity.
