For those interested in the traditions of old Beijing, here's something fun for you to try. Click the mouse and learn playing Kongzhu, otherwise known as a Chinese yoyo. It's an new initiative by the Beijing Kongzhu Museum to popularize the age-old plaything.

Learning the skills of playing Kongzhu, right at your home is a cool idea for the Museum to try. Using 3D technology, the website allows visitors to learn the skill from national intangible heritage inheritors. The Beijing Kongzhu Museum has 438 pieces of Kongzhu in store, showing various sizes and styles. The museum has received nearly 20-thousand visitors since it was founded last year. And the digital museum aims to popularize this aspect of old Beijing culture to more people.
