In Guangzhou, the organizing committee of the upcoming Asian Games has released a collection of songs especially created for the big event.

In spite of the rains, Tuesday's ceremony drew quite a crowd. The event featured performances by some popular entertainers in China. One major highlight was when Kungfu movie star Jackie Chan joined singer Sun Nan for a rendition of the song "Blue Sky", which artistically appeals for peace, harmony, and love. The two artists promise to release a single of the composition. The Asian Games in Guangzhou will have its official song chosen from an ongoing nationwide song collection campaign.
