The curtain is about to fall on this year's Shanghai Film Festival. With the event coinciding with the World Expo, more attention and business opportunities have taken center stage.

More than 300 stars attended the festival, but this gathering is not only about celebrities.

The fair allows over 100 film agencies and individual producers from more than 20 countries to make connections and search for partners.

A series of movie viewings and international films exhibitions echoing the ongoing World Expo has also been in the spotlight.

As China's cinematic industry blooms, this year's film festival is being considered Shanghai's most successful yet.

Observers say a better city not only helps achieve a better life, but also inspires better films and a better festival.
