In Fujian province, the Strait Arts & Crafts Fair has opened in Putian for its 5th year. This year it is held under the theme of "protecting traditional culture and promoting cooperation."

Wood sculpture, classic furniture, jewels, embroidery, and porcelain...craftsman from Chinese mainland, Taiwan, Hongkong, Macau as well as foreign countries have brought over ten thousand delicate artwares in 26 categories to display and compete for the highest award in arts and crafts in China.

It's not only the most important platform for craftsman on both sides of the strait to demonstrate their talent and skills, but will also bring colleagues closer to protecting cultural heritage.
