On Thursday, France pavilion set a new record. The number of visitors has broken 3-million. It's one of the most popular places at the Shanghai Expo. Now, adding even more glamour is the country's fashion giant Christian Dior.

This suit was the big hit of 1947. Designed by the founder of the brand, Christian Dior, this bar jacket was a model and an inspiration of the fashion world for the following half century.

Along with it are another 8 suits and a few classic accessories including jewelry and hand bags, offering a full glimpse at the history of Dior. All the displays embody the brand's establishing style.

Christian Dior was born in 1905 in France. The man thought to himself that he had to "bring back beauty, feminine clothing, soft rounded shapes, and full flowing skirts." He certainly accomplished his goal. Christian Dior passed on in 1957, but the impact he made upon women's fashion is still felt today.
