Piano Seven, Switzerland's creative ensemble of 7 pianos, delivered a passionate show on Tuesday night in Beijing. The group's music, with its infectious syncopation and jazz chords, is a real treat for audiophiles.

The volume and power of seven pianos together is not seven times the power of one.

On Tuesday night, Piano Seven comprehensively and deeply presented the beautiful sound of piano through various means.

The group started off as a one-time experiment in 1986, but what was the chemical reaction that makes the experiment continue until today?

Digging into a repertoire of the group's own composition, the program also allows space for passionate improvising by one or two soloists, with others playing as accompaniment.

The group's style has been described as Latin fused with jazz and blues, but Lindemann says he only agrees with one label.

Piano Seven is staging two other shows in Guangzhou on Friday night and Saturday night in Shanghai.
