Films compete for Golden Horse

The 2010 Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival is now taking applications. At this point, seven films from both sides of the strait have registered for various awards.

Phone calls from film companies have poured in. Already, "Momga", "Tangshan Earthquake", "First Page Taipei", "Seven Days in Heaven" and three other films have made their applications.

The two leading actors of "Momga" have both submitted their application for Best Leading Actors, while Guo Caijie from "First Page Taipei" has set her sights on the awards of Best Leading Actress and the Best New Performer.

As for the newly established award of "Best New Director", artists Leehom Wong and A Niu have demonstrated their ambition with their respective works.
