Tourists to Shanghai have plenty of choices. Apart from the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, another exposition might attract their attention--- the Animation Expo.
The 6th China International Animation Expo has kicked off at the Shanghai Exhibition Center, alluring cartoon enthusiasts with a fascinating virtual world where fictional characters meet reality.
Loads of visitors crowd the 20-thousand square meter venue. The Animation Expo this year focuses on the interaction between visitors and the cartoon pictures on display. The lead actors of the comedy animation "Seven Little Arhats" even mingle with spectators for a Kungfu show. And many onlookers are invited to try the arcade machines through which they can compete with each other in rowing or bicycle races.
Industry insiders say, in the near future, game lovers will be able to join in virtual competition with their neighbors, friends, or even strangers for a friendly sports game.
Expo Goer, said, "This machine will hook me into physical exercises. It's a lot of fun in there."

Apart from the high tech arcade equipment introduced at the expo, the fair also features cartoon publications and video and audio books.
