The world expo is a big stage for people to show their best of today, tomorrow or yesterday. A 3D film tries to mix the three feelings together, through an adventure of a great ancient palace in China's ancient capital Xi'an.

The royal palace of Tang Dynasty is recovered, revived and represented to the visitors at the Expo.

Daming Palace was once the center of politics, economics and culture of the most prosperous period of China's feudal society. Flying over the ancient palace and the old capital city some 13 hundred years ago, the experience is also expected to inspire today's people a hint of how to make a better city and a better life.

Liu Lei, curator of Daming Palace, Shanghai Expo, said, "We have to find a way out of how to keep a balance between the protection on the legacy and the development of the city. Not only Xi'an, ancient cities like Luoyang and Kaifeng also faces the same problem. How to protect the Daming Palace is one of the efforts to discover a resolution. "

The 3-D film is played on an arc screen which is 15 meters long and 5 meters tall. Not only a virtual journey, the city Xi'an also invites visitors to make it real by a visit to the Daming Palace National Heritage Park, which will open on the first day of this October in Xi'an.

Covering an area of over 300 hectares, the park will comprise the original sites and a modern park.
