Curtain falls on Expo Youth Week

The Expo's Youth Week has wrapped up with a grand gathering of young people from around the world singing, dancing, and cheering for youth and friendship together.

At the closing ceremony, Ethiopian friends brought African dance, while Moldovan students performed their folk dance. Boys were showing their basketball skills, and girls were demonstrating their beauty by doing Uygur dances.

Other performances included traditional Chinese music and Peking Opera, all getting a huge response from the crowd.

Since its beginning on July 5th, nearly 1,000 young people participated in the event, bringing a lot of youthful vitality to the 2010 World Expo.

Also during the week, a youth summit was held to explore the topic of "Youth, City and Future."
