South Indian film actress Anu-PRI-ya was the showstopper as gowns dominated the last day of the International Fashion Week in southern city of Chennai.

The International Fashion Week, which began on Wednesday and concluded on Sunday, showcased apparel designed by veterans as well as young talents.
On the last day of the fashion extravaganza, designer dresses for women, particularly satin and silk gowns, were the main attraction.
Nithya Singh, fashion designer, said, "This event is a very big opportunity for emerging designers like us to showcase our talent in front of so many people and the media. So I want to thank them for giving us such a good platform that we generally do not get at any other fashion week."
South Indian film actress Anupriya, showcasing a Victorian gown, created the most buzz of the day.
Anupriya, S. Indian Film actress, said, "I think Indian fashion is very graceful, very elegant and we should preserve that because I would say every place in the world has their own taste and signature in fashion, so do we. We should preserve that because we are known by that."
This season's fashion week showcased eight international and 22 Indian fashion designers, with 30 fashion shows featuring over a 100 models.
