At the newly opened China Maritime Museum in Shanghai, visitors are taken on a long journey of the oriental civilization's great adventures of the sea.

The trek begins in ancient times and takes you to the present. You can see many interesting items including, ship models, art treasures and other objects.

There is nothing else like it in China, since this is the one and only maritime museum in the country.
