At Expo park, the long lines snaking around some pavilions suggest that visitors' enthusiasm is not spoiled by the ongoing heatwave.

To entertain those standing in line, the folks at the Singapore pavilion have prepared something special.

Wearing masks, drummers play instruments of different ethnic groups. Performers in Chinese, Malays, Indians, and Baba-nyonya dresses are dancing to the beat. Lively music and beautiful young ladies in summer finery give visitors a peek at what the Singapore pavilion offers inside.

Visitors can even shoot photos together with performers. Queuing is no waste of time here.
