Xi'an City Pavilion celebrates its Activity Day on Monday. At the same day, Daming Palace Pavilion shines during its Activity Week. The 2011 Xi'an International Horticultural Exposition also takes this chance to send its invitation out to people around the world.

The Shanghai Expo and Xi'an International Horticultural Exposition exchange their mascots, "Haibao" and "Chang'an Flower," on the Activity Day. The film star Yan Ni from Xi'an is the "image ambassador" for the Xi'an International Horticultural Exposition. She welcomes people to the coming Exposition. The Daming Palace is located in the best area of the city pavilions, and is the only one selected for grand heritage conservation.

The pavilion displays a scale replica of the Xifeng Ascott of Daming Palace, with an area of 740 square meters. It fully reflects the cultural essence of the Tang Dynasty and the historical legacy of the ancient city Xi'an.
