Unseen footage of Aftershock unveiled

Director Feng Xiaogang has recently unveiled three additional scenes not included in the theatrical version of his new film "Aftershock."

Since it hit the screen, this blockbuster has been one of the summer's hottest topics, and fans are eager to see more about the movie.

This 139-minute-long movie tells a 30-year story of a family whose lives were totally changed by the Tangshan Earthquake.

Limited by the length of the movie, many scenes had to be cut, including details depicting the love between different family members.

The first of the additional footage shows the tender love between the father and his adopted daughter, an earthquake orphan. The other two scenes show the coincidental missed meeting of the brother and the sister who are separated by the earthquake.
