A stunning performance combining five top South Korean bands in a joint concert was held in Taipei recently.

And the country's top music producer, Park Jin-young, the founder of "JYP Entertainment" impressed more than 8000 fans in Taiwan during the concert.

The popular South Korean girl band "Wonder Girls" presented about 40 songs with two boy bands "2PM" and "MBLAQ," and newly formed girl band "Miss A" over the 4-hour long concert.

Park founded "JYP Entertainment" in 1997 and has achieved remarkable success in managing famous pop singers like "Rain," "Wonder Girls," and "2PM."

By producing this first joint concert in Taipei, Park wanted to pass his ideas about building a platform to help regional popular singers to cooperate closely in order to enter the global music market.

Park Jin-Young, music producer of Founder of JYP Entertainment, said, "Fans in Taiwan are always supporting us with their warm love. I am very pleased. In the future we shall support the region's music and dramas in return, and we can find a way to work together."

The South Korean boy band "2PM" performed their newly released single "Don't Stop Can't Stop" at the concert.

Wonder Girls released a special album in mandarin in Taiwan in February that has caused a sensation on Taiwan's largest music download site KK Box and G-Music Billboard.

MBLAQ, is a South Korean boy band acronym for" Music Boys Live in Absolute Quality". Members were recruited and trained by the pop R&B singer Rain under his label J.Tune Entertainment.

MBLAQ's second single "Y" released in May this year has good scores in Taiwan market.

The newly formed girl band "Miss A" combines Korean and Chinese singers. It's Park's new strategy to target Mandarin music market in Asia.

Two Chinese girls Jia and Fei were chosen by Park through a local network's talent show in the Chinese mainland three years ago.
