As its name suggests, this musical depicts a love story, but this one includes marriage problems that confront people in their stressful urban lives, and goes on to examine the true meaning of happiness. It incorporates Yunnan's folk music into the modern play.

The musical also presents the natural scenery and ethnic culture of Yunnan.

Li Jiang, where the story takes place, is a famous tourist destination in Yunnan province, with its World's Relics "Old Town of LiJiang" -- a well-preserved old city of ethnic minorities with a history of over 800 years.
