At the Dalian Fashion Festival, Versace is releasing its autumn-winter 2010-2011 fashion line. This time, the empire of the fashion world interprets the mysterious world of "The Matrix."
Skew and unbalanced lines set off the design of futurism. The black figure-hugging jacket of Versace's menswear reminds the viewers the sci-fi blockbuster "The Matrix".
The concept is also put into good use in the women's wear: simple but cool. Geometrical shapes are lent to foil the body's curve. Slide fasteners make a possible natural connection. The pallet is based on black, white, and blue, with bright intervals of red and yellow.
Zhao Lei, Supervisor, World Brand Fashion Show, said, "Bias cut is one of the symbols of Versace, especially for this autumn and winter. We now see the womenswear is strong and sexy while the menswear is filled with a cubic outline. Masculinity is strengthened by materials like enamel leather."

Last year, Versace closed its boutiques in Japan but opened more in China, like many other luxury brands are rethinking their business models after the impact of the financial crisis and the rising of new luxury markets like China and India.
