Now, for a story that go a bit deeper in the water Can you imagine the traditional Chinese dramatic art of face changing underwater, where performers swim among the colorful fish?

Bian lian, or face changing, is part of SiChuan Opera in which artists wear vividly colored masks and change them in the blink of an eye. For all the magic of the art, performers at the Chengdu Ocean Park are taking a bold step by staging the art underwater.

Heavy as the diving suit may be, the face changes are as graceful as ever. But making water-proof masks takes a lot of extra effort.

The fantasy drew a large crowd and left them gasping with wonder. The fun runs through the National Holiday.
