In Toronto, preparations for Chinese New Year are well underway, with festive decorations and lively celebrations taking place in the city's Chinatown.

Chinese retailers have been stocking their shelves with lanterns, lion figures, and spring scrolls.

Retailer, Toronto of Canada, said, "I've bought a lot of goods for the Spring Festival, such as spring scrolls, lanterns, and firecrackers. They will sell very well."
