A long and tough road to fulfill star dream

Every year at this time, thousands of applicants from across China head to Beijing Film Academy, one of the country's top cradles for stars. Many of them dream of becoming an overnight sensation.

The exam's own record is broken every year. This time, the number of the applicants is more than 20,000. For instance, nearly 3,000 students will compete for the 30 positions in the acting department.

Every year the Major of Arts Admissions Test for colleges, sets the ground for one of

The academy has promised a more fair exam for all interviewees with overall standards including talent and drive, rather than merely judging on appearance as most outsiders have thought. Professor Cui Xinqin has given actor want-to-be's at least one good tip... they should develop a very strong mind.
