"What Women Want" remake premieres in HK

Hong Kong superstar Andy Lau is celebrating Valentines Day with the launch of his new romantic comedy - a Chinese remake of "What Women Want."

The original 2000 version starred Mel Gibson and Helen Hunt and was directed by Nancy Myers. In the Mandarin version, also known as "I Know A Woman's Heart", Andy Lau stars with Mainland actresses, Gong Li and Yuan Li while Chen Daming directs.

Lau steps into Gibson's shoes as the executive who gains the ability to hear women's thoughts. "What Women Want" was released in the Chinese Mainland and the U.S. earlier this month and will be released in Hong Kong and Singapore on Thursday.
