It's springtime in Paris at the Philadelphia International Flower Show. The annual display of all things floral has chosen the French capital as its theme this year. Displays include a floral version of the Eiffel tower and the Arc de Triomphe.

Beautiful pink and white tulips are on display at the annual Philadelphia International Flower Show.

This is just a small selection of the 25-thousand tulips at this eight-day event.

This year's theme is "Springtime in Paris" and a scaled-down replica of the Eiffel Tower greets visitors as they enter.

This two-ton, one-fifth scale replica dazzles crowds with a light show every hour.

Around a quarter-of-a-million visitors attended the event, making it the largest indoor flower show in the world.

There are 10 acres of elegant floral exhibits and artfully crafted topiary.

Drew Becher, President of Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, said, "Anyone can come to the Philadelphia International Flower Show and learn great new things. We have lectures and demonstrations from the best landscape architects in this country and beyond. We also have the floral showcase, which is where they're introducing new plants from the floral industry into the consumer market. We have great designers back there telling and showing people how to create different types of bouquets and decor out of plants and really pushing new trends in the industry."

A local agricultural school is showing off its "Tale of Two Cities" display, which includes the mini-Arc de Triomphe as well as a replica of the Philadelphia Art Museum.

The display also focuses on flowers, shrubs, and trees found locally in each city.

Kenna Moore, Visitor From Atlantic City, said, "Overwhelming and definitely amazing, very colorful and simply beautiful and majestic. It's amazing."

But beyond the pretty petals, the flower show provides a 61-million dollars boost to the region's economy.

The Philadelphia International Flower Show came to an end on Sunday.
