China Disabled People's Performing Art Troupe paid a visit to Qatar's largest city, Doha, on Tuesday. As the last stop of their Africa and Middle East tour, the troupe again performed their iconic set, "My Dream", while adding some fresh elements to entertain local audiences.

In Doha, Ms Gao Xinxin performed an Egyptian song "Sing It Out Loud" in Arabic. She spent only two days preparing the song especially for the final show despite the language barrier. Although she is sight impaired, that doesn't keep her from understanding the spirit of the song.

Gao Xinxin, Singer of China Disabled People's Performing Art Troupe, said, "Whether I am disabled or not, I have the right to dream like everyone else. The song is about being brave to tell people who you are and dare to dream. It wasn't difficult for me to rehearse because the melody is beautiful, and most importantly, I feel connected with the song."

According to Ms Gao, it has been an amazing experience for the troupe to go on a world tour like this. They visited more than 10 countries in Africa and the Middle East. She says, the more they performed together, the more intimate they felt to one another. Some of the troupe's world renowned performances such as "Thousand Hand Goddess", "Into Butterflies" received thunderous and long-lasting ovations.

Head of Qatar's Ministry of Culture and Chinese Ambassador to Qatar exchanged gifts after the gala, drawing the tour to a successful end. The troupe will return to China soon.
