Xianyang Garden in Xi'an attracts visitors

As one of China's ancient capitals, Xianyang city, located to the northwest of Xi'an, claims even greater antiquity than Shaanxi's provincial capital Xi'an. It was the capital of the state of Qin during the Warring States period and became the capital of China during the short-lived Qin Dynasty. Given its rich history, Xianyang Garden become one of the star gardens for the horticultural expo.

The Xianyang garden is focusing on the Qin culture. The Qin dynasty dates back about 22-hundred years ago. In the Xianyang garden, visitors can see the ancient city gate tower, the bamboo slips and the sculptures of the first Qin Emperor, Yingzheng. Meanwhile, ecological concepts appear everywhere in the Xianyang garden, showing off colorful flowers and giving visitors an excellent environment in which to take a stroll.
