And there's another new exhibition here in the capital... Well-known artist, Wang Mingming, introduced his childhood paintings to the public for the first time at the Art Museum of Beijing Fine Art Academy on Wednesday. Wang is an undisputed art master, but people may not know how he viewed the world when he was a little child. This exhibition let's peak into the artist's young mind.

All painting works presented at this exhibition were done by Wang from the age of six to thirteen. All those works were carefully saved by Wang's father, Mr Wang Niantang.

Wang's father had a great interest in painting when he was young. But for some reason he was unable to make his wishes come true. So he put his hopes on his children.

Since Wang Mingming's childhood, he put great effort into practicing his painting skills.

The works on display not only show a big and beautiful world through Wang's eyes, budding with great curiosity and a child's interests, but they also reflect the true situation of the society at that time from a child's viewpoint.

The show is an excellent way for the audience, and perhaps Wang himself, to look back at an age of innocence.

The exhibition runs until May the 8th.
