As part of "Spring of Shanghai International Music Festival", a special choir concert was held at the Shanghai Music Hall on Tuesday.

The event entitled "The Power of Life", was also the debut of Shanghai's own Handi-Capable Choir.

Inaugurated three years ago, the 60-member choir is composed of handicapped singers who are systematically trained by professional vocal tutors. The choir's debut performance included twenty songs including Chinese pieces "I Love You China" and "How Can I Stop Thinking About Her" as well as Occidental classics "O Sole Mio (My Sun)" and "Lady from Spain".

The concert pleasantly surprised the audience with its well-polished vocal arrangements and great chemistry between choir members.

The positive energy and optimism throughout the performance seemed to inspire those in the music hall.
