One of the highlights celebrating the 90th anniversary of the Communist Party of China is the stage extravaganza "A Tribute To Our Flag." The grand show graced the stage at the Great Hall of the People on Wednesday.

Chinese President Hu Jintao and other state leaders joined an audience of more than 5-thousand people for the performance.

Backed by the impressive celebratory tunes, Chinese President Hu Jintao along with other political leaders of the country stepped into the solemn Great Hall of the People, overwhelmed by enthusiastic applause in unison.

The show kicked off with the song and dance performance "The Internationale," which served as a time capsule waking up the collective memories of those in the packed house.

The show features a wealthy selection of well known songs and dances representing different phases of CPC history, such as "Bathing in the Beautiful Sunshine," "Psalm for Our Motherland," and "Marching Towards Victory." However, the old works are subject to new renditions, making them relevant in a different era.

The night of music is highlighted by its fourth eponymous chapter, in which CPC members of various generations mingled on stage taking the vows under the CPC flag.
