Dance drama "Grasslands' Memory" staged in Daqing

In order to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the founding of the CPC, performers from Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region presented audiences with a great dance drama "Grasslands' Memory" in Daqing this week.

The Xilin Gol League performed a 90-minute dance drama that tells the story of 3000 Shanghai orphans who were sent to the Inner Mongolia in the 1950s and 1960s and grew up on the grassland.

The music and dance were full of the natural grassland features, reflecting the people's happiness there.

The drama showed audiences the close ties between the Mongolian minority people and the Han people.
