Forbes: The best paid entertainers

The top entertainers are ranked according to their salaries. Financial magazine Forbes has compiled a list of the best paid celebrities, from May 2010 to May 2011.

Topping the list for best paid actors is Leonardo DiCaprio, with a whopping 77-million-dollar year.

DiCaprio pushed out last year's top earner Johnny Depp, who became this year's number 2 breadwinner, taking in 50 million dollars.

Comic actor Adam Sandler is third on the list.

On the ladies side, tied in first place are actresses Sarah Jessica Parker and Angelina Jolie, who pulled in roughly 30 million dollars each.

The third spot on the list is also a tie with Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon both taking home 28 million.

Other notable achievements in the earnings department for other celebrities include Lady Gaga, who tops the Forbes list of well-paid celebrities under age 30 with a total of 90 million dollars over the year. Gaga is followed by Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift.
