China's "Young Sculptor" Sculpture Exhibition opened at the Chinese Museum of Women and Children on Monday.

Hosted by the Chinese National Academy of Arts, the exhibition showcases artwork by 21 young sculptors from China Sculpture Institute.

One of the highlights of the exhibition is the expansion of materials used to make these sculptures. Ceramics, metal, and other substances are used to embody the unique perspective of Chinese people on nature and society.

Walking into the museum, visitors see brilliant pieces created by young Chinese sculptors who blend Chinese brushwork techniques with realistic western tradition and the achievements of the visual arts revolution of the 20th century.

The event concludes August 31st.
