Now, let's take a quick trip to Mexico where some 1,162 hair stylists congregated in a Mexico City park on Monday to try to set a new Guinness World Record of the most people cutting hair simultaneously.

The current record was set in Japan on November, 2010 with 1,156 hair stylists.

Mexican hair stylist associations and Mexico municipal government organized the event with an intention to further train hair stylists professionally and increase their social standing. Stylists all took 12 to 15 minutes to complete their hair cut.

The record has yet to be certified by Guinness.
