The 4th National Exhibition of Young Artists' Works opened at the National Art Museum of China in Beijing last Friday.

At the exhibition, some eye-catching military-themed paintings have attracted many visitors. Let's stop by the museum and take a look.

This oil painting named "Post-90s of Yang Zirong's Reconnaissance Unit" portrays a group of scouts, who are ready to conduct a mission. The work is by painter Shuoren Yifenwho himself is a soldier from a troop in North China's Hebei Province. His works have been showcased at two successive national exhibitions. And among his many works, he says he loves the military-themed ones the most.

Shuoren Yifenwho said, "This painting portrays my comrades-in-arms, we live together and train together. They are all post-90s, young, loyal and brave."

There are also several other soldier-painters who showed us their military life with their brush pencils. Their passion for life and the motherland are vividly expressed in the paintings.

A total of 526 pieces are being showcased at the 4th National Exhibition of Young Artists' Works.

The exhibition ends on December 18th.
