Gulfood brings int'l flavors to Dubai

Gulfood 2012, the world's largest annual trade show for the food and hospitality industry, kicked off in Dubai on Sunday.

More than 3,500 companies from around the world are there to showcase their food and beverage products and services.

Running until Wednesday at the Dubai International and Exhibition Center, Gulfood 2012 represents all corners of the globe.

The event covers the full spectrum of the food industry, from ingredients to food processing, packaging, retail, hospitality and distribution. Culinary skills will also be showcased at the festival.

More than a thousand chefs will participate in a heated competition.
