Almost every kid loves go to the cinema. But for children with autism at a kindergarten in Nanjing, in China's eastern Province of Jiangsu, it's almost impossible to go out for a movie. That was until recently, when Mr. Song, a former movie projectionist, brought the joy and fun of the silver screen to these kindergarteners.

Mr. Song was worried that the kids might not understand the plot. But when he showed them the movie, he was happy to see that the children were enthralled by the big screen. They sat quietly and seemed eager to learn what was going to happen next. Taking autistic children to the movies can be a challenge, because they easily have outbursts or cry in an unfamiliar environment. But here in their kindergarten, Mr. Song has allowed these autistic children to discover what their peers enjoy in theatres.
