Speaking of American idols, many are honoring Michael Jackson as the three year anniversary of his death reminds millions of fans of his legacy. His four brothers are among those paying tribute. Marlon, Jermaine, Tito and Jackie - are preparing for their own return to the stage.

The four Jackson brothers are preparing to launch their "Unity" tour five days ahead of the third anniversary of the passing of Michael, who died of an overdose of the anesthetic propofol.

It hasn’t been easy for the siblings.

Jermaine Jackson, a recording aritist says, "The brothers don’t know this, but I’ve broken down several times and cried during rehearsals. I’m so used to Michael being on the right and then Marlon, Jackie, on and on. It’s just something we never get used to."

The brothers have wanted to reunite for years, but after Michael died, they needed time to heal - and the tour is another step in that process.

Marlon Jackson, a recording aritist says, "We’ve never performed without our brother and to have him, this is where he used to be or where he would be. But you feel his magic, his presence, as Jackie stated, on stage."

The group plans to pay tribute to Michael during their shows with a slideshow and medley.

Jermaine Jackson says, "He’ll be highly missed on stage. We wish he was here working with us, but his spirit is with us. Michael is the type of person, no one can replace him. He’s was the best at his craft. What he did on stage is amazing."

One tour stop is Harlem’s Apollo Theatre, where the Jackson 5 won amateur night in the late 1960s before rocketing to fame.

Tito Jackson, a recording aritist says, "There’s been certain songs that do make you feel the sorrow, but then again there’s other songs that bring so much joy and happiness, such as ’ABCs’ and ’I Want You Backs’ and doing the up-tempo stuff like ’Heartbreak Hotel,’ you know, with the energy, just imagine how he used to walk and spin and do all these things."

The Jacksons’ tour kicked off on June 20 in Ontario, Canada, and ends on July 29.
